Organisers are currently in talks with a number of venues about hosting live music and performances.

Since the cancellation of the annual festival, which was to be held a week earlier, the team have been busily putting together a ‘Plan B’ to ensure Bognor still has a cultural offering this summer.

Rox Music & Arts director Matt Douglas said: “We’re looking to encompass as much of the town as possible that can feasibly be managed on the resources that we already have and we’re going to do our very best to create a great vibe in the town and beyond for just about anyone that wants to get involved.”

Hotham Park has been booked for the weekend of July 30 - 31, to stage the festival’s ‘Secret Garden’ which already has around 30 acts secured.

The search is on for more however with bands, duos and acoustic acts, along with traders, volunteers, family fun rides etc invited to get in touch.

Bands that had already registered for the original festival will be automatically be put forward for consideration, with new acts can register via the website.

The organisers stressed that the plans aren’t only intended to keep the flag flying but also provide the opportunities to raise essential income for the return of the festival in 2017.
