HUNDREDS of garden enthusiasts helped raise £9,000 for charity at an open garden event in Bosham.
The event, in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphomia Research, saw 31 gardens around the village open their gates, offering teas, barbecues, lunches, and a whole host of things for sale to help raise the money.
Leukaemia & Lymphomia Research is the only UK charity solely dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for all blood cancers.
Chairman of the Chichester branch of the charity Sophie Shalit thanked all of the villagers who opened their gardens and made the day a success.
