THERE is something of interest for all gardeners at Bosham Open Gardens on Sunday, June 7.

The event includes 27 private gardens, plus refreshments and music.

Among the features are gardens on the harbour’s edge with coastal and wind-tolerant plants, more sheltered gardens in a wide variety of styles and sizes, rose gardens, herbaceous borders, organic vegetable gardens, unusual container planting and water features.

There will be plants, artwork and crafts for sale, and local artist Lou Johns will have statues in a few of the gardens.

Tea and homemade cakes will be served in the Penny Royal Theatre Garden and music will entertain from 2.30pm.

All proceeds will support The Cure Parkinson’s Trust. Entry is £5 and the gardens are open 11am to 5pm. Visit www.boshamgardens.org to pre-book lunch in a waterside garden with glass of wine for £15.
