WAITROSE has recalled its Brazilian Chardonnay wine, as the product contains sulphites, which are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for those with a sensitivity to sulphites.

A spokesman for the company, said: “If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphites, do not consume it. Instead, return it to the nearest Waitrose store for a full refund. Customers can also contact the Waitrose Customer Services Department on 0800 188 884.”

Customers can take the wine back to the Waitrose store in Chichester if they have concerns.
