BREAKING NEWS: Barnham police officer charged with sex offences
A TRANSPORT policeman has appeared in court charged with abusing a 12-year-old girl.
Mick Defries, 58, of Barnham, a police sergeant with British Transport Police, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (November 18) charged with two counts of sexual touching.
The charges related to an allegation of historic sexual touching against a 12-year-old girl.
Defries was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on December 12.
