EMERGENCY services are dealing with a casualty with a ‘suspected neck injury’ after a car crashed and flipped just outside of Goodwood Racecourse.
The silver vehicle – believed to be either a VW Golf or Polo – crashed just minutes ago, shortly before 9.30am.
Two police cars, paramedics and a fire crew from Chichester are currently at the scene.
Traffic is already building up outside Goodwood, with witnesses reporting about 30 or 40 cars queuing behind the crash site.
Mike Rixon, 25, of Climping, called the Observer from the scene. He said: “It looks really bad.
“The car has rolled and is halfway in a bush.”
Updates to come.
