A PERSON has died after being electrocuted on a railway line at Drayton Crossing near Chichester in the early hours of Saturday morning.
British Transport Police confirmed the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson said: “British Transport Police officers were called to Drayton Crossing, Drayton Lane, West Sussex, on Saturday, February 14, 2015 after someone reported that a person had been electrocuted on the railway line.
“Officers from BTP and Sussex Police attended the scene after it was reported at 3.30am and medics from South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is being treated as non suspicious.”
