A notice on the door thanks customers for their loyalty over the years, as the business ‘turns a new page’, ending ‘merci et au revoir’.

It reads: “A special thank you to all our ever faithful regulars and your continued returning custom; without you, the place would never have been the same.

“It has been a great adventure for us and a delight to have met you all over the years.

“To all, we wish you all the best for the future.”
