A city firm has gone into administration with stock being moved out of its shop this week.
Chichester Honda went into adminstration at the end of October, a Honda spokeswoman confirmed to the Observer this afternoon (November 6).
According to neighbouring businesses at the Chichester Trade Centre, in Quarry Lane, stock was being moved out during this week.
There is no sign on the doors from the business indicating to customers what has happened.
The phone lines do not connect and visitors to its website www.chichesterhonda.co.uk are greeted with message saying the website is undergoing maintenance.
It is not known how many staff are affected by this, with Honda saying all the employees would have been part of the franchise and not Honda employees.
According to Companies House, Chichester Honda’s accounts’ submission had been overdue.
