CCTV footage after Emsworth assault

HAMPSHIRE Police has issued a CCTV image of three witnesses they would like to identify following an assault in North Street, Emsworth around 12.45am on Saturday, July 20.

The incident occurred outside the Charcoal Grill Kebab shop.

A 44-year-old man was outside the shop and following a verbal altercation he was assaulted by another man.

He sustained bruising to the face and a broken ankle and was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

The offender was described as male, mixed race, approximately six feet tall, athletic build, early 20s, short dark-brown hair, wearing short and a t-shirt, and told a number of people he was a serving Royal Marine.
