YOUNGSTERS have the chance to take to the wild during the half-term break.
Accredited bushcraft instructor, Jonathon Huet is running a bushcraft day for 11 to 16-year-olds.
The bushcraft day is taking place on Wednesday, June 6 in the grounds of Park Community School in Havant, running from 10am-3pm.
The day promises to be full of outdoor activities including fire-lighting, exploring wild food cooking, wood carving and various crafts. It also gives those who attend the opportunity to make their own wild jam and enjoy making their own hazelnut bread.
Jonathon Huet said: “The idea of the day is really to give children the opportunity to experience adventure and enjoy the outdoors.”
