The new Chef’s Table with a Twist will take place each month in 2016, alternating between Bailiffscourt Hotel & Spa in Climping, and The Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa in Midhurst.

Historic Sussex Hotels’ group executive head chef Martin Hadden will be sharing his cooking secrets in seasonal hands-on masterclasses, followed by lunch.

Martin was the youngest ever Roux Scholar at the age of 19 and has since won a number of Michelin stars for his cooking.

This month’s class ‘macaroon mayhem’ takes place on Thursday (April 14).

Other courses include ‘perfect pastry’, ‘fishy tales’ learning how to fillet, prep and cook mackerel and ‘score with scones’.

The Chef’s Table with a Twist will encourage guests to roll up their sleeves and get fully involved in cooking.
