A former Chichester pupil is set for the biggest performance of his life in the Britain’s Got Talent final this evening as he competes for £250,000 and the chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent judges said they’d ‘found someone truly special’ in talented Chichester schoolboy Isaac Waddington, who won a place in tonight’s final (Sunday, May 31).
A former pupil at The Prebendal School, 15-year-old Isaac had the audience transfixed with his stunning rendition of George Michael’s I Can’t Make You Love Me on Thursday evening (May 28), receiving four yes votes from the judges.
The Prebendal School tweeted: “Massive congrats to former Prebendalian @WaddingtonIsaac who is through to Sunday’s @BGT final! So proud!!”
Isaac will tonight battle it out for the Britain’s Got Talent crown, the chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance and £250,000.
People can get behind Isaac by voting for him using the Britain’s Got Talent App, which allows people to buzz along with the show, unlock new buzzers, and getting involved in quizzes and games.

People can also vote during the live show tonight (Sunday, May 31) starting at 7.30pm on ITV.
Simon Cowell said they’d found “someone truly special” following Isaac’s jaw-dropping performance.
Isaac is a student at Portsmouth Grammar School and previously won BBC Young Chorister of the Year in 2012. He was also head chorister at Chichester Cathedral and The Prebendal School.
Simon Cowell reaped praise on Isaac. “You’ve got a great voice, a great taste in music,” he told him on Thursday.
“I love you behind the piano, you were really relaxed.
“I wasn’t raving about your performance audition.
“For me it was a big step up. When a room is totally silent it means you’ve got everyone’s attention.” Cowell’s praise
