THE Chichester Priory 10km road race takes place this Sunday (February 8) and organisers have warned motorists to expect ‘inevitable delays’.
It starts at 10am and delays are likely to last less than an hour.
Potential problems are likely to be in the north-east quadrant of the city, especially around Oaklands Way, Northgate roundabout, College Lane, Summersdale Road, Westhampnett roundabout, East Lavant village, the Lavant Road and Broyle Road.
The Road Race starts in College Lane, passes through Graylingwell Park and then out to Westhampnett, passing the Rolls-Royce Factory and Goodwood Aerodrome. The route passes through East Lavant and then back to Chichester along the A286.
Sequential road closure orders over several parts of the course will be in place.
