Chichester Wetherspoons’ ‘mother hen’ to shave her head

A SPECIAL fundraiser takes place in a city centre pub at the weekend.

The Dolphin and Anchor, in West Street, Chichester, is raising money after one of its most-loved members of staff Kim Baccarini was recently diagnosed with cancer.

“Kim is the mother hen at Wetherspoons in Chichester and very popular among all the staff and customers with her loud and caring personality,” said Will Innes.

“In preparation for her chemotherapy she will be shaving her head in the pub for CLIC Sargent which does incredible work raising money for children with cancer.”

She will be joined by five other members of staff who will also shave their heads in support of Kim and to raise more funds for the charity.

The fundraiser takes place in the pub on Sunday (January 18) at 3pm.
