Controlled explosion of bomb on Medmerry Beach

Members of the Selsey Coastguard Rescue Team were called to Medmerry Beach on Tuesday (November 24) after reports a bomb had been found.

They were called to the scene at 1pm and worked with the bomb disposal unit to carry out a controlled explosion, making the area safe by 3.15pm.
