AN AFFORDABLE housing exhibition is taking place at North Mundham Village Hall today (Tuesday, May 15).

North Mundham Parish Council, Chichester District Council, Hyde Group and local residents have been working together to find a suitable location to provide affordable housing for the residents of the parish.

The council would like to invite you to an exhibition to be held between 3pm-6.30pm to update you on the progress that has been made and to seek your views on the preferred site.

Representatives from the district council and the Hyde Group will be there to provide a summary of the day at the annual meeting of parish electors. This takes place the same evening in the village hall from 7pm. Residents will have the opportunity to tell the parish council what they would like it to work towards over the next year.

Water voles project manager Jane Reeve, from Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group will be giving a presentation. The parish council is also seeking your views on the war memorial and the senior citizens’ Christmas party. There will be refreshments after the meeting and the opportunity to purchase tickets for events to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
