COUNTY NEWS: Young boy discovers body at railway station

A man’s body was discovered at a Sussex railway station by a young boy this morning (Thursday November 26).

Officers were called to a foot crossing near Littlehaven station in Horsham at about 8.45am.

Inspector Baynes, of British Transport Police, said: “We had a report from a young boy early this morning of a body on the track.

“I can confirm we have got a deceased male.

“An investigation is going on to find out who he is and let his next of kin know.

“We are treating this as an unexplained incident.”
