Appeal for witnesses follows Petworth toilet theft

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a toilet cubicle, among other items, was stolen from a farm near Petworth.

Thieves targeted a farm in London Road, Northchapel near Petworth on last Sunday (February 28), stealing a toilet cubicle among 'several other items', police have said.

Anyone who may have witnessed two men driving a truck at the farm have been urged to come forward.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "On February 28 police received a report of the theft of a toilet cubicle and several other items at a farm on London Road (A283), Northchapel, near Petworth. The theft is believed to have taken place between 8am and 11pm on 27 January.

"Police would like to hear from anyone who has any information or may have witnessed a small low-loader truck seen in the grounds of the farm on the afternoon of Saturday 27 February. driven by two males.

"Anyone with information can report online or by calling 101 quoting serial 333 of 28/2. Alternatively, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
