A farm worker from Batchmere near Chichester has denied murdering a Romanian man whose body was found at a plant nursery.
Gheorghe Badea, 53, of Second Avenue, was charged after the body of Tasin Sugaip was found at the nursery in Batchmere with several stab wounds to his chest on Boxing Day last year. Mr Sugaip had been visiting the UK from his home in Tulcea, in the east of Romania.
Badea, who is also Romanian, gave a not guilty plea to the murder charge at Lewes Crown Court on Friday, March 18.
A trial is to start at Lewes Crown Court on August 16 this year.
