Bognor Regis property searched by police as part of investigation

A 29-year-old man from Bognor Regis and a 25-year-old from Emsworth were arrested early yesterday on suspicion of theft and handling of stolen goods following a police search of a business yard in Chichester yesterday.

A 27-year-old woman from Emsworth was arrested later yesterday on the same charges.

All three have been released under investigation.

Police searched a second premises today in Town Cross Avenue, Bognor Regis.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "Police investigating the alleged theft of a number of motor vehicles executed a warrant on a premises in Town Cross Avenue, Bognor Regis, on Thursday morning (May 21).

"The search is linked to another that took place in Chichester on Wednesday (May 20).

"On Wednesday afternoon, police arrested a 27-year-old woman from Emsworth on suspicion of handling stolen goods. She has since been released under investigation.

"Two men, aged 29 and 25, from Bognor Regis and Emsworth respectively, were arrested earlier on Wednesday on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods. They have also been released under investigation."
