Car stolen in Bognor burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in which a car was stolen at a house in Bognor Regis.

According to police, the offenders entered via the front door of the Ockley Road property and took a handbag, and the keys to a light green X-registered Nissan Almera Tino, which they also stole and which has yet to be recovered.

The incident happened overnight between Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28.

Detective constable Gavin Percival of the Community Investigation Team said: “If you saw anything suspicious, know who is responsible or know where the car is, please contact the police immediately.” Witnesses can call 101, quoting 287 of 28/05, or go to https://sussex.police.uk/appealresponse
