Century-old headstone stolen from Westhampnett grave
Thieves have stolen the headstone to a grave which is more than 100 years old, police said.
The headstone was raided from the graveyard at St Peter’s Church in Westhampnett on November 24.
According to the Sussex Police November Farm Watch bulletin, the stolen stone dates back to 1902, and some lettering to an adjoining gravestone was also stolen in the raid.
