Chichester man charged with racially aggravated harassment

A TEENAGER from Chichester will appear in court, charged with racially or religiously aggravated harassment.

Sussex Police was called to Kent Road, Chichester, just after 4.30pm on July 17, to a report that a 16 year-old boy had received a number of racist and homophobic text messages.

After the police conducted initial enquiries, Ashley Neil May, 19, of Kent Road, Chichester, was arrested and subsequently charged.

He was released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 25.
