Court results: This is who was sentenced at Worthing, Crawley and Brighton magistrates’ courts, June 28 to July 6, 2021

Luke Penn, 35, of Florence Close, Birdham, was fined £700 and must pay £70 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving while disqualified in Florence Close, Birdham, on March 9, 2021. He was disqualified from driving for three months.

Darren Betsworth, 35, of Commonview, Stedham, was given a community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and must pay £900 compensation after admitting stealing the takings from the till, between £200 and £300, having entered Elmer Beach Store, Bognor Regis, as a trespasser on December 23, 12, 2019.

Daniel Harrison, 29, of Selsey Road, Donnington, was fined £660 and must pay £66 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of failing to identify a driver when required by Sussex Police in Shoreham on February 19, 2021. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Toyah Keen, 21, of The Forge, West Street, Selsey, was fined £660 and must pay £88 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of driving without insurance in East Street, Littlehampton, on January 16, 2021. She was fined £220 after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of driving without the correct licence in Rosemead, Littlehampton, on January 16, 2021. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

Lee Pack, 40, of Bramber Road, Chichester, was fined £660 and must pay £66 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after being found guilty under the single justice procedure of failing to identify a driver when required by Sussex Police in Shoreham on February 12, 2021. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Omar Kabari, 27, of Weald Court, Station Road, Billingshurst, was fined £40 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Guildford Road, Horsham, on June 9, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Darren Taylor, 46, of Chichester Road, Selsey, must pay £60 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to attend Building Better Relationships sessions on March 18 and April 8, 2019. The order was revoked and he was dealt with for the original offence, receiving a new community order with rehabilitation activity requirement and order to carry out 60 hours’ unpaid work for assault by beating in Cosham on May 11, 2018.

Richard Winch, 40, of Minton Road, Felpham, was fined £75 and must pay £60 costs after admitting breaching a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on March 28 and June 6, 2021.

Graham Turner, 67, of Greengates, Lurgashall, was fined £40 and must pay £34 victim surcharge, £90 costs, after admitting under the single justice procedure driving over the 30mph speed limit in Barnham Road, Barnham, on June 12, 2020. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Matthew Somner, 24, of Courtlands Way, Bognor Regis, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting two charges of drug-driving (66ug/l cocaine, 599ug/l benzoylecgonine) in Church Lane, Yapton, on November 23, 2020. He must pay £95 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and was disqualified from driving for 20 months.
