Man stopped following reports of gunman in Chichester
A man has been stopped following reports of a gunman in the city this afternoon (Friday, May 28).
Armed police were seen running to a man at the corner of Priory Road and New Park Lane at about 4pm.
Sussex Police officers were also seen preparing to enter a building along Lower Walls Walk. One officer was seen carrying a battering ram.
About six police cars were at the scene and dozens of officers.
