Lead was stolen from a building in the Chichester city centre last night.

Police have today (October 9) released the details of the theft, and a Sussex Police spokesperson said: “In St Martins Square between 9pm last night and 6.15am this morning a large quantity of lead was removed from around the side of a building.”

Witnesses should call Sussex Police on 101 with any information about the incident.
