Police investigating serious A29 crash

Police are investigating a serious collision on the A29 which happened on Tuesday (May 26).

Officers were called around 6.15pm to Beacon Hill, Pulborough to reports of a collision involving a white Honda CBR motorcycle and a black Seat Ibiza, a Sussex Police spokesman said.

He added: “The motorcycle rider – a 27-year-old man from the Selham area – suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

“The driver of the Seat – a 30-year-old woman from the Walberton area – was uninjured.”

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, who saw either vehicle being driven prior to the collision, or who may have any relevant dash cam footage, according to the spokesman.

He added: “Anyone with information is urged to contact Sussex Police by calling 101 or emailing [email protected] quoting Operation Downley.”
