"Selsey’s neighbourhood policing team is continuing to work to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour in the area, including through partnership working," a Sussex Police spokesperson said.

"It is really important that residents continue to report incidents or concerns, either by contacting us via our online methods or by phoning 101."

Selsey Town Council said it is continuing to work closely with the police, 'opening our building to maintain an established police presence'.

A spokesperson added: "We also actively contribute to the funding of our community warden, Neil Hill who works closely with the police and Selsey community.
