The son of a woman whose body was found buried in the woods at Goodwood has been charged with her murder.
50-year-old Neale James, appeared at Worthing Magistrates Court today charged with killing his 78-year-old mother Brenda James.
His next apperance will be at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday, March 29.
Mrs James, pictured above, was reported missing from her home at Lakeside Caravan Park in Chichester on Tuesday, March 22 by concerned friends.
Her son who lives at Vinetrow Road, Chichester, was arrested on Wednesday morning on suspicion of her murder and was charged late last night (Friday, March 25).
A post mortem was carried out the victim’s body yesterday and it revealed that she died from a head injury caused by a weapon.
