The second man arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of 78-year-old Brenda James has been bailed pending further enquiries.
John Merry, 46, from Ipswich was arrested on Sunday evening on suspicion of murder.
Sussex Police announced yesterday evening he had been bailed on May 19.
Mrs James was found buried at woodland on the Goodwood estate last Thursday, March 24 after being reported missing by friends.
Her son, 50-year-old Neale James, who lived with her at the Chichester Holiday Park, in Vinnetrow Road, Chichester appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday, March 29 for a brief hearing after being charged with her murder on Friday, March 25.
He has been remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing on June 3 at the same court.
