A FEMALE cyclist was left with minor injuries after being in collision with a car towing a caravan at St Pancras in Chichester this afternoon (Thursday, July 17).

The accident happened at around 2pm where New Park Road joins the A285 near Litten Gardens and saw the cyclist knocked off her bike.

Police and ambulance services attended and the woman was treated at the scene for minor cuts and bruises and shock while both men in the Suzuki Grand Vitara we uninjured.

PC John Lawson said: “The lady is being treated for minor injuries and is shook up after a coming together as the road opens up.

“We will continue to investigate and action will be taken where appropriate.”
