Two centenarians are being celebrated at Donnington House Care Home, in Birdham Road, Chichester.
Molly Colbourne was born on March 8, 1916, and Kath Bull on March 22, 1916, so a party was organised on Thursday, midway between the two 100th birthdays.
Molly was born in Portsmouth but has spent most of her life in the Chichester area.
She married George in April 1938 and the couple started their own business in Southgate, Chichester, dealing in televisions and radios.
They had two children, Carole and Nicholas.
Kath was born in West Wittering, one of seven children.
She served in the Wrens and was stationed at Fort Gomer in Gosport.
She worked as a cook, first at Roedean School in Brighton and later in a care home, retiring at the age of 77.
She has two daughters, Carol and Pauline, and seven grandchildren.
