Driver freed after car rolls off road in Chichester

A driver was treated for minor injuries after a car rolled off a road and into a ditch in Chichester this afternoon (Monday, September 14).

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called just before 1.15pm to an 'incident involving a vehicle' in Tozer Way.

A spokesperson said: "Two fire engines and the heavy rescue tender from Chichester attended the scene.

Sussex Police confirmed officers assisted at the scene after a car overturned.

A spokesperson said: "The driver was freed by firefighters and treated for minor injuries at the scene by ambulance paramedics."
