PUPILS at a Chichester school put on a musical production with a difference to raise cash for their club.
The young singers from Kingsham Primary School put on two performances of their This Is Me, Glee-style production which raised £153.76 for two different causes.
The money will be split between the Friends of Kingsham Primary School, and the club, which was set up by volunteer Joedine Lloyd.
She leads two after school classes a week at the school, and is hoping to use the money raised from the shows to buy some microphones which will improve their practice.
Miss Lloyd set up the singing club at the start of term and in January went more in the direction of the popular Glee television show.
“It went really well,” she said. “It was about getting every child to participate in the production.
“It’s going to be an ongoing thing.
“We are hoping the next one will be at the end of the summer term.”
