A new Headteacher at a Chichester school has set out her ‘blueprint’ for the future.

Oakwood Preparatory School in East Ashling has welcomed new Headteacher Clare Bradbury, who has a number of exciting developments lined up for the next academic year.

“Oakwood is renowned for its welcoming and stimulating learning environment where children are inspired to learn and grow into confident and happy young people who are ready to move on to their next stage of learning,” said Clare.

“We will now be putting in place a number of exciting and innovative academic and pastoral initiatives that further embrace the needs of current pupils as well as the changing needs of a new generation of children.”

Plans for the school include the development of 3D Science, greater language resources, and the expansion of outdoor educational experiences using the school’s 160 acres of park and woodland.

Before joining Oakwood, Clare worked at Westbourne School in Chichester, where she was Deputy Headteacher for four years, having taught there for 18 years.
