TWO cottages on the Chichester high schools campus are set to be sold to raise extra cash.
West Sussex County Council said it deemed the Kingsham Farm Cottages to be ‘surplus’.
The two semi-detached cottages are in a list of assets the council is looking to sell.
The cottages are located off the access to the schools from Basin Road.
The county council said it retained the cottages when the schools became academies.
They were described as previously caretaker’s lodgings and temporary staff accommodation.
The council said the site did have ‘some development potential’ if an alternative access route could be secured.
“A possible sale to adjoining developer owners is therefore being explored,” it said.
