Spring makeover for Chichester park thanks to Rotary clubs
The sensory garden in Chichester’s Priory Park is getting a springtime makeover thanks to members of the city’s Rotary clubs.
A team coordinated by the Priory club and drawn from the Chichester clubs have been tidying up the garden.
Linda Smith and Marianne Scott, both from the Harbour club, are pictured hard at work tiding the flowerbeds ready for replanting with plants donated by Chichester District Council.
Local stonemason Anton Matthews has donated a granite plaque to commemorate the opening of the garden to the public.
The park was opened in 2005 as a result of a collaboration between the three Chichester Rotary clubs and Chichester District Council.
