Fire breaks out in Selsey house

A fire has broken out at a house in Selsey this evening (Monday, October 5).

In a tweet, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Selsey, Chichester and East Wittering are currently at the scene in East Street.

People are advised to avoid the area while firefighters tackle the blaze.

Residents in the neighbourhood are advised to keep doors and windows closed.
