Firefighters called after 200 litres of diesel spilled at Fontwell garage


West Sussex Fire and Rescue crews were called to a fuel spillage at the Shell garage in Fontwell this evening (October 14).

Firefighters were called to the garage on the Arundel Road at 6.30pm after a large goods vehicle collided with a pump, spilling around 200 litres of diesel onto the forecourt.

Crews had made the scene safe by 6.50pm.
