SCHOOLGIRL Tilly Jackson bagged a big prize in an art competition organised by the city’s Tesco store.
The seven-year-old took part in a competition to draw a picture to tell customers about the new Click & Collect Groceries online shopping service.
Schoolchildren had been asked by the Tesco online team to design an eye-catching picture to run alongside the Click& Collect design to promote the new service.
Tilly, who attends Fishbourne Primary School, won the competition and bagged £250 for the school, plus a £25 Tesco gift card for herself.
She also got to see her winning artwork printed on 250 re-usable shopping bags to be distributed to parents and children at the school.
The bag has Tilly’s drawing of the new service, with her name, and the slogan ‘Tesco Chichester, proud to be part of the community’.
Tilly, accompanied by classmates, family and school staff, went to the Tesco store at Chichester to pick up her prizes.
Her entry was selected by judges for its colour, impact, sense of fun and style.
The Click & Collect Service means shoppers can order groceries online and arrange to pick them up at a collection point in the car park.
