There are two courses starting on Friday, January 15, which include free ingredients and tasty recipes. They will be held at Swanfield Community Centre, Chichester, from 11am to 1pm, and at Selsey Town Hall, High Street, Selsey, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Places can be booked by calling 07747 017372 or emailing [email protected].

Participants will cook and eat together at each session, with an option to take home extra portions.

Course leader Karen Dennison said: “Cooking for a family can be a nightmare, especially on a limited budget, but our sessions get children and adults having fun in the kitchen and creating delicious, healthy family meals.

“If you want to learn how to cook healthily and on a budget then start 2016 with our practical course. Many people have never been shown how to cook a meal from scratch, so we teach them in hands-on, fun cooking sessions.”
