The Mayor of Chichester, Peter Budge, turned in support of the Apuldram Centre as it hosted a lively coffee and cake morning in aid of Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice on Sunday.
The event was blessed with fine weather and saw entertainment from local choir Achoired Taste, vocal artist Bobby Barnes as well as a team of children’s dancers under the direction of Sam Stevens, who works at the centre for people with learning disabilities.
The four female members of staff who are doing a parachute jump for the hospice on May 1 were also there.
