FUNTINGTON will have its post office back after more than three years without it.
The post office will be reopened in the the Funtington Larder Village Shop, seven days a week.
The shop, which has taken the place of disused stables next to the Fox and Hounds, will now be the home of the post office after it closed in June 2010.
The date of the post office’s return has not yet been confirmed.
The Post Office regional network manager south, Julia Marwood, said: “We understand how important having a post office is to residents in Funtington.
“We are delighted to be reopening Funtington post office and we are confident this new, modern branch will make it easier for our customers to do business with us and also secure services for the future.”
The branch will be open seven days a week: Monday to Saturday from 7am-7pm, and Sundays from 8am-4pm.
