A GROUP has taken to the catwalk to raise funds for The Apuldram Centre.
The charity fashion show took place at Rowlands Castle to raise funds for the Apuldram Centre, which provides support for adults with learning difficulties.
“I thought we would raise around £500, but to raise more was amazing, I am hoping this will be able to help with something they will need,” said Elaine Parkin, fashion show organiser.
A group from Langstone Cutters Rowing Club took to the catwalk to raise funds for the centre.
Paul Reed, trustee of the Apuldram Centre, was presented with a cheque for over £800 raised from the event, which sold more than 90 tickets.
Elaine organised the event with Catwalk Connections, a company which gives people the chance to try on high-street clothes at discounted prices to raise funds for chosen charities.
“I know what amazing work the centre does for its clients, I wanted to recognise the work they do,” she said.
