Hospice walk for dogs set to be success

WALKIES for Wilf will make a Bognor Regis park a canine capital this weekend.

The first sponsored dog walk for St Wilfrid’s Hospice will be taking part in
Hotham Park.

Sunday’s (July 6) event will see an expected 100 pets raise money for the hospice with the help of their owners.

The four-legged companions of all shapes and sizes will be stepping out between 9am and 11am and get sponsored for completing as many circuits of the route as possible.

All walkies must be finished by midday.

The incredible canines will receive a round of ‘appaws’ for their fundraising and a doggie bag to take home with them. Their owners will be able to enjoy refreshments.

The fun event is expected to see tails wagging excitedly in anticipation as the leads come out for the occasion.

It costs £7.50 a dog to take part in the walk. Four-legged friends can bring along as many human companions as they like for free to add to the fun on the day.
