HUNSTON Parish Council is celebrating after being awarded the Quality Council award.
Cllr Michael Chater, chairman of the National Association of Local Councils, presented Hunston Parish council with the award.
The Quality Parish and Town Council Scheme is an initiative put forward by the government for all parish and town councils in the country.
The scheme is co-ordinated with the support of the National Association of Local Councils (NALC).
During the presentation Cllr Chater congratulated the chairman, councillors and the clerk and said it was a great achievement which reflected the parish’s commitment to excellence in local government.
