THERE were big celebrations as much-loved Oving pub The Gribble reopened again eight months after being devastated by a fire.
Last Thursday, March 20, landlords Simon Wood and Nikki Tester held a special night for all those who had helped them get the pub back on it’s feet, ahead of opening on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, Nikki said: “It’s so nice to see everyone and see the place with people in it again.
“It’s eight months to the day since the fire and we’re delighted to be back open.
“Tonight is all about saying a big thank-you to everyone who has supported us, be it putting us up in their spare room, bringing us food, helping with the big clear up and all the other wonderful support.”
