Jewellery and an accordion taken in Westbourne burglary

POLICE are appealing for information after unusual items were stolen from Westbourne.

An accordion and a large amount of jewellery were stolen from a house in East Street between midday on March 28 and 4.30pm on March 30.

The accordion was a red Weltmeiser 60 Bass with black straps and a red carry bag with ‘The Music Room’ written in black.

The jewellery included a wide hinged 18ct bangle with a white sapphire set into the gold, a gold Rotary watch with a white oblong face, a Polsa gold coloured watch with a round face, a 9ct large oblong cameo ring, a 18ct ring with solitaire diamond, a 9ct amber ring in the shape of a flower 9ct wedding band, a 9ct ring set with cubic zirconium, a 18ct white gold ring containing blue topaz and diamond, a silver ring containing a pearl with cubic zirconium surround and matching stud earrings, a 18ct gold chain with an amber pendant within a gold setting, a 14” fine gold chain with pendant of a horseshoe and the hand of Fatima.
