Residents are welcome to attend a meeting discussing Emperor Way this evening (October 25).
An open meeting has been called for 7.30pm tonight, in the Fishbourne Centre for residents and other users of the Emperor Way to hear about the latest developments in the campaign to keep the cycle path open.
Cllrs Geoff Hand and Ruth Keeley, of Fishbourne Parish Council will report on the latest discussions with the Sussex Archaeological Society, the owners of the Fishbourne Palace.
They will then lead a discussion to find a solution.
Cllr Hand, said: “Over the past six months, hundreds of hours have gone into finding a solution. I am optimistic that by the end of the meeting we will have agreed upon a strategy that will safeguard the Emperor Way and enable the Roman Palace to develop its facilities.”
